Burlington, our newest store, is just about ready for opening day. But what a project! Because of the pandemic, our ambitious plans have been beset by unexpected delays and frustrations. Still, the finish line is in sight, probably within the next four to six weeks.
Once we’re open, you’ll find an extraordinary array of the highest quality furniture in our showroom. Spring is high season for top-quality furniture consignment in and around Boston, and this year has been a blockbuster. Our 10,000-square-foot warehouse behind the showroom is bursting at the seams with inventory.
Here’s what you can look forward to finding in FCG Burlington:
- Opening day will feature a wide variety of furniture styles with a broad range of price points. We will be listening carefully to our shoppers over the next few months to learn what they really want to find in our newest store.
- Burlington will offer a big selection of traditional mahogany dressers and dining tables as well as sideboards and consoles of all sizes and styles, with storage or without storage.
- Our newest store will also feature an array of Euro contemporary furniture, known for its top-grain leathers and sleek lines. You will likely find pieces that would be perfect for your contemporary condo in the Seaport.
- Burlington will be fully stocked with lots of pieces from popular brands such as Restoration Hardware, Arhaus, and Mitchell Gold including living room, family room, and three-season room furniture.
- The new store also will feature plenty of unique pieces and accessories from top interior designers and home-furnishing stores that have closed.
- Best of all, our new store will be fun! Along with the stunning furniture, we’ve stocked up on trendy prints, modern lighting, and fabulous accessories. In fact, Burlington will feature a specialty room designated to showcase light fixtures from some of Boston’s most spectacular homes.
Here’s my promise to you, our patient customers. Once open, Burlington won’t disappoint. So stay tuned. We’re thrilled to be this close to opening our fourth store with the kind of variety, style, and quality you’ve come to expect from Furniture Consignment Gallery.

Will store take consignment from walkins like at other places I go to? Or is this all high end furniture? Seems like mostly new goods. Not consignment like name of store leads macro believe.
