Our Staff

Our staff includes several tenured employees who work on a non-commission basis to assist you in finding the right piece of furniture to complement your home. Our staff is knowledgeable in many different periods, styles and brands of furniture. 

Diana - Owner / Designer

Diana is a graduate of the University of Kentucky’s accredited Interior Design degree program. She was schooled by one of the top Interior Designers in the state of Kentucky before venturing to Atlanta where she worked for Mathews Furniture. Mathews is a high-end furniture retailer, where Diana became one of their top Interior Designers.

In 1994, Diana started Interior Design International, a design firm specializing in residential interior design. Interior Design International merged with Furniture Consignment Gallery in 2005. Diana is an active member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) and has passed the NCIDQ exam.

Diana is FCG’s primary buyer for new merchandise, and she works with store managers on merchandising plans and maintains active design clients and projects. She has designed rooms in the two most recent Junior League of Boston prestigious show houses. In her free time, Diana enjoys reading, horseback riding, and competitive water skiing. 

Jay - Owner 

A native of Hingham, Massachusetts, Jay attended Thayer Academy and went on to major in English and Communications at the University of Kentucky. Jay made the jump from the software industry where he worked for ADP, EMC and Borland Software Corporation to the world of small business owner.

Jay handles day-to-day operations at FCG while he oversees marketing, website projects, and all furniture logistics. He also works directly with customers who are considering FCG as a place to sell their furniture. Jay enjoys playing old man basketball, coaching his kids, and competitive water skiing.
